How we get paid, in plain English.

Gaming Review Room is funded through affiliate partnerships. In short: some of the links to operators on this site carry a tracking code, and if you click one and go on to register an account, the operator pays us a commission.

What this costs you

Nothing. The price, odds, bonus and terms you get are exactly the same as they would be if you typed the operator's address in yourself. The commission comes out of the operator's marketing budget, not your pocket.

How we mark these links

The “Visit” buttons and supporting links on our shortlist are commercial links. They open in a new tab and are tagged so search engines treat them as sponsored. Links to regulators and support services — the UK Gambling Commission, GAMSTOP, GamCare and GambleAware — are not affiliate links and we earn nothing from them.

Does it change what we write?

We work with most listed operators on similar terms, so the commission is roughly the same wherever you sign up. That means there's no money to be made by talking up a poor site, and plenty of trust to lose by doing so. Where a site has a real weakness — a clunky app, slow payouts, fiddly wagering — we say it, on the same card with the link.

Editorial control

Operators do not get to approve, edit or preview our reviews, scores or running order. If a partnership ever conflicted with telling you something honest, the honesty wins and the partnership goes.
